    On Saturday September 15, 2018 polo history was made as Adolfo Cambiaso (n), "Poroto", not only played with his father but at the age of 12 became the youngest player to debut in a tournament of high handicap. This surpasses the previous record of Nicolás Pieres who at 15 years old, not only made his first participation but also won the tournament in 2006, integrating the team of Ellerstina with his father Gonzalo and his brothers Gonzalo (h) and Facundo.

     

    The satisfaction was doubled for the Cambiasos, as they achieved the triumph of the semifinals with the La Dolfina Brava I team at field 1 of the "Alfredo Lalor" Headquarters of the Argentine Polo Association, defeating La Dolfina Valiente 10-5.  La Dolfina Brava I advances to the final of the 54 Jockey Club Open scheduled for Saturday September 22, 2018.

  • April 1, 2018 The USPA 26-goal Gold Cup Final: Valiente defeated FlexJet 12-11 and defended their title in Sunday's April 1, 2018 2018 USPA Gold Cup final at International Polo Club. Packed stands watched a very exciting and close game after a spectacular Easter Sunday Funday at IPC. Nico Pieres earned the MVP presented by George Dupont of the Polo Museum & Hall of Fame. Macarena owned by Mariano Gonzalez and played by Adolfo Cambiaso was awarded the Best Playing Pony honors, presented by Brenda Lynn of the Polo Museum & Hall of Fame.     April 1, 2018: Valiente with the perpetual trophy of the USPA 26-goal Gold Cup
    after winning the final at International Polo Club.



  • March 17-31, 2018 The 16-20 goal Carlos Gracida Cup Coca-Cola took the win defeating La Indiana in the final on Saturday at IPC. Check the Calendar for games.
  • March 11, 2018 The 26-goal Butler Handicap at IPC: Valiente continues their winning streak, defeating Colorado in the final and taking their 2nd 26-goal title of the season at IPC. MVP went to Adolfo Cambiaso.

  • March 4, 2018 USPA 26-goal CV Whitney Cup Final: Valiente claimed the 1st win of the 26-goal Triple Crown tournament finals, defeating Colorado 9-4. A gorgeous day for the final which was played today at International Polo Club on the IPC Field 1 (Engel & Volkers Field). Facundo Pieres was awarded the MVP and Adolfo Cambiaso's mare was given the Best Playing Pony honors. Be sure to visit our 2018 CV Whitney Page for details and photos of the final!

  • February 25, 2018 USPA 20-goal Ylvisaker Cup Final at IPC: GSA and Valiente battled it out to a crowded International Polo Club for the chance to win the final of the Ylvisaker Cup. An exciting game for everyone with few penalties, moved the game quickly to a Valiente victory, 8-6 over GSA. Adolfo Cambiaso was named the MVP and Mariano Gonzalez's mare was chosen for a 2nd time in the tournament as Best Playing Pony.     February 25, 2018: Valiente claims victory over GSA in Sunday's Final of the USPA 20-goal Ylvisaker Cup at IPC.

USPA 26-goal U.S. Open Polo Championships:

The Valiente team made history as they completed
their 3rd win in Polo's U.S. Triple Crown with a victory
in the rescheduled final of the
113th USPA 26-goal U.S. Open Polo Championship
after defeating Orchard Hill in Overtime in one of the
best games played in years. The last time there was a
Triple Crown victory was when Adolfo Cambiaso
played for the Crab Orchard team in 2008.

26-goal Butler Handicap:

Coca-Cola claimed the 1st win of this inaugural
stand-alone 26-goal tournament defeating FlexJet.
This tournament has previously been played as a
subsidiary cup but originally as a stand-alone
tournament founded by Paul Butler of Oakbrook.

Dubai takes the win of the
22-goal Cartier Queens Cup at Guards Polo, UK,

defeating a talented La Indiana team by a 1-goal
margin that was attained in the final
seconds.
Julian De Luserreta was named the MVP and
Chapa Volcan was awarded the

Best Playing Pony honors.

Adolfo Cambiaso received the highest honors today
and giving a big boost for the sport of polo as he was
awarded the Golden Olimpia Award for Sportsman of
the Year in Argentina.

This is the 2nd time in the history of the
Golden Olimpia Awards that a polo player has
received these honors.

Adolfo Cambiaso is also recognized as the
Top-ranked polo player in the world.
Congratulations Adolfo Cambiaso!

It is with great sadness & a heavy heart that we say
our prayers on the passing of legendary polo player
Carlos Gracida.

Carlos Gracida suffered a tragic
life-ending fall in Tuesday's February 25, 2014
medium-goal Freebooter's Classic at
Everglades Polo Club.

He was recently inducted into the
Polo Hall of Fame in 2012 & is known to have more
tournament wins than any other polo player.
Carlos lived in Palm Beach County & was very active
with fund raising projects & benefits
along with being a super role model to
aspiring athletes around the world.

He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
