Wellington Photo is an online media source presenting exciting hi-res photo coverage from multiple angles of the 2015 high-goal polo season that took place at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida from January 4 thru April 19th, 2015. The final tournament was the 2015 USPA 111th 26-goal U.S. Open Polo Championships, concluding the high-goal polo season at IPC in Wellington, Florida. Currently we are covering the 2015 Cartier Queen's Cup at Guards Polo Club in the UK followed by the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup.

June 14, 2015: The King Power Foxes Polo Team with the Cartier Queen's Cup Perpetual Trophy after their win over Dubai Polo Team at Guards Polo Club (UK).

  • June 14, 2015: King Power Foxes & the Dubai Polo Team met each other in a well-played Cartier Queen's Cup final and took the game into overtime but it was Facundo Pieres, set up by 'Top', who scored the winning goal for King Power Foxes & sealing the fate of Dubai Polo. Facundo Pieres was named MVP & his mare was awarded Best Playing Pony of the 2015 22-goal Cartier Queen's Cup Final at Guards Polo Club (UK).     April 19, 2015: The Valiente Polo Team, Adolfo Cambiaso, Guillermo Terrera, Alejo Taranco (MVP) & Bob Jornayvez with the
    U.S. Open Polo Championship Perpetual trophy after their victory over Orchard Hill 11-9 in the final of the
    111th USPA U.S. Open Polo Championships.

Coca-Cola didn't let their fans down today as they
continued their perfect winning streak, taking the
2015 USPA 20-goal Ylvisaker Memorial Cup after their
difficult win over Valiente, final score 14-13.
Julio Arellano was named the MVP of the final and
Dolfina Resta, played by Sapo Caset & owned by
Adolfo Cambiaso was awarded the honor of
Best Playing Pony.

December 16, 2014:
 
Adolfo Cambiaso received the highest honors today
and giving a big boost for the sport of polo as he was
awarded the Golden Olimpia Award for Sportsman of
the Year in Argentina.

This is the 2nd time in the history of the
Golden Olimpia Awards that a polo player has
received these honors.

Adolfo Cambiaso is also recognized as the
Top-ranked polo player in the world.
Congratulations Adolfo Cambiaso!

This is the 2nd consecutive year that

David 'Pelon' Stirling was named the MVP of the final.

presented with the AAP Best Polo Horse Breeders
and Rural Society Argentina Award.

hosted 2 polo tournaments on
Saturday November 29th to benefit the
Museum of Polo & Hall of Fame in Lake Worth, FL.
The 1st game was the
Carlos Gracida Legends of Polo Cup, a memorial
played in honor of Carlos Gracida, legendary polo
player who passed away early this year in a
tragic polo accident.
The 2nd Game, The International Cup was won by
Team USA for their 3rd consecutive year,
defeating Team USPA and Mexico.
Nic Roldan was named the MVP;
Best Playing Pony honors went to 'Vegas'

The La Dolfina Polo team (Adolfo Cambiaso, David Stirling, Pablo Mac Donough, & Juan Martin Nero) got into high-gear with their 14-7 victory over Chapaleufu La Mariana (Augustin Merlos, Sebastian Merlos, Eduardo Heguy & Pepe Heguy) in the Jockey Club Open at Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Adolfo Cambiaso was named the Miguel Panda MVP along with being awarded for the Best Playing Pony award & the Best Argentine Bred Polo Pony going to his mare Dolfina Tetera & presented by the Argentine Polo Pony Breeders Association.
Pablo Mac Donough was honored with the Premio Gonzalo Tanoira al Espiritu Deportivo Award.

The Valiente Polo Team sweeps the 43rd Land Rover Polo
International tournaments, adding the Bulgari Gold Cup to their 3rd tournament win, defeating Ellerston Polo Team 13-11 at Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande, Spain.
Earlier in the afternoon, Lechuza Caracas defeated Halcyon Gallery 10-8 to win the Silver Cup subsidiary final.
August 30, 2014: The Valiente Polo Team, Adolfo Cambiaso, Santiago Laborde, Bob Jornayvez & Santi Torres raising the Bulgari Gold Cup after defeating the Ellerston Polo Team in the final at Santa Maria Polo Club.

It is with great sadness & a heavy heart that we say
our prayers on the passing of legendary polo player
Carlos Gracida.

Carlos Gracida suffered a tragic
life-ending fall in Tuesday's February 25, 2014
medium-goal Freebooter's Classic at
Everglades Polo Club.

He was recently inducted into the
Polo Hall of Fame in 2012 & is known to have more
tournament wins than any other polo player.
Carlos lived in Palm Beach County & was very active
with fund raising projects & benefits
along with being a super role model to
aspiring athletes around the world.

He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
