April 24-27, 2014 at the La Martina Miami Beach World Cup X

The La Martina Miami Beach World Cup X enjoyed 4 days of typical gorgeous Florida weather and once again brought the sport of arena polo to the white sands of South Beach. The social scene was in full-swing with the La Martina fashion show getting everyone's interest. Plenty of vendors were available for a full range of art, clothing boutiques, food, and more including the opportunity to purchase a yacht & view the Auto Art Miami cars totally over 100 million dollars thanks to Lou La Vie Art curators.
Plenty of polo action spanned the 4-day event which included the La Martina South Beach Women's Cup VI on the opening day. 8 Polo Teams made up the two women's divisions in which the La Martina Women's polo team rose to the top, defeating the other teams in their division and leading to their place at the award's stand, claiming the South Beach Polo Cup perpetual trophy. Kaila Doud was awarded the MVP of that division while Laura Wilson's horse 'Little Joe' received the Best Playing Pony honors. FontaineBleu Aviation Polo Team was the winner of the 2nd women's division with Kerstie Allen scoring all the goals for her team. Kerstie Allen was awarded the MVP for her outstanding play and her horse 'Kai' was awarded the Best Playing Pony honors.
After 3 days & 52 chukkers of the men's polo teams battling it out, the defending champions, the Yellow Cab Polo Team emerged the victor
, with the help of Sebastian Merlos who received the MVP. Sebastian Merlos is a former 10-goaler and no stranger to the world of polo, competing in high-goal polo tournaments around the world.
According to President & co-founder of Polo Life, LLC, Bruce Orosz, "The Miami Beach World Cup X, Miami Beach Polo's 10-year anniversary, was a spectacular success".
