April 19, 2017: Valiente defeated Travieso in the 2nd semifinal and moves on to play Orchard Hill in Sunday's 3pm final. Valiente has won the 1st two tournaments in polo's U.S. Triple Crown and Adolfo Cambiaso and the Valiente team look to be the 1st team to complete their Triple Crown victory since 2008 when Crab Orchard took the Triple Crown title with Adolfo Cambiaso leading the way.

A Look back in the past:

April 19, 2017: In a gut-wrenching semifinal match between Orchard Hill (defending champions) and the unbeaten FlexJet team, it took overtime and a winning goal by Facundo Pieres to clench the win for Orchard Hill. The FlexJet team kept a consistent lead for nearly the whole game and continued to block Orchard Hill's efforts. Orchard Hill didn't give up and ended up tying the game to send it into overtime. Overtime was played cautiously by both teams and kept all of us watching on the edges of our seats. The game, well into the 7th chukker was finally ended with Facundo Pieres running the ball with a clear path between the goal posts and ending the tournament with a heartbreaking loss for the FlexJet team.
