with the 20-goal Herbie Pennell Cup January 2nd,
2015 (Opening Sunday was January 4th, 2014)

Calendar:



January 4, 2014: A beautiful day at the International Polo Club and an exciting first final to start the high-goal polo season off in Wellington, Florida. Casablanca and Villa del Lago took to the field in the 20-goal Herbie Pennell Cup and gave polo spectators a great opening Sunday of polo excitement. Villa del Lago came on strong with an early lead through the 1st half but the Casablanca team came back stronger after halftime to eventually take the lead and keep it. Casablanca won the game defeating Villa del Lago 13-11. Miguel Novillo Astrada was named the MVP of the final and his mare Paulina was awarded Best Playing Pony. Grant Ganzi was awarded the Best Playing Patron. See below for photos & Gallery Links.
