In the 2nd 3pm semifinal, Orchard Hill vs Lucchese, the game was moved from field 3 to field 5 after the 1st chukker. Field 3 was determined to be in an unsafe playing condition for the horses and the players. Orchard Hill ahead in the 4th chukker, 8-6 over Lucchese had to wait to complete their win when Andres Weisz and his horse had a fall in the 4th chukker; the game was unable to be resumed until Thursday morning from lack of light. Thursday morning, the game resumed & Orchard Hill defeated Lucchese in a tight finish 14-13, advancing to Sunday's final to face Villa del Lago.
