Wellington Photo covered the 2013 USPA 26 goal C.V. Whitney Cup polo tournament, 1st of the three 26 goal polo tournaments played at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, FL. We enjoyed capturing the high level of skill needed of both horse & player in this fast paced tournament of the 26 goal C.V. Whitney Cup games and sharing our coverage with you. This tournament was a single elimination format. The USPA 26 goal C.V. Whitney Cup started Tuesday February 19, 2013 & concluded Sunday March 3, 2013 with Alegria defeating Lechuza Caracas 14-10.

March 3, 2013: In Sunday's conclusion of the USPA 26 goal CV Whitney Cup tournament at International Polo Club, Alegria defeated Lechuza Caracas 14-10 in the final. MVP went to Facundo Obregon and Hillario Ulloa's mare Mia, was awarded the Best Playing Pony Award for thee 2013 CV Whitney Cup. Earlier in the day, Orchard Hill defeated ERG 11-10 in the Les Armour 26 goal subsidiary cup Final on the IPC Field 2. Augustin Merlos was awarded MVP & Matias Macdonough’s Barrista was named the Best Playing Pony of the 26goal Les Armour subsidiary cup final.

March 1, 2013: At 11am on the IPC Field 3, ERG defeated Piaget 12-11 in the 26 goal Les Armour Subsidiary Cup, advancing to Sunday's final at Noon to play Orchard Hill.
February 28, 2013:
Today, Lechuza Caracas defeated Coca-Cola in
the 26 goal CV Whitney Cup semifinal, Lechuza Caracas advances to the final on Sunday to play Alegria at 3pm on the Piaget Field. In today's Les Armour 26 goal subsidiary cup, Orchard Hill defeated Audi and advances to the final being played at IPC on Sunday at 10am.
February 26, 2013:
Alegria defeats Zacara 17-16 in OT, winning goal by Julian Mannix, patron of Alegria in the semifinals of the 2013 USPA 26 Goal C.V. Whitney Cup. Due to rain, Piaget vs ERG in the Les Armour Subsidiary Cup is now scheduled for 11am Friday March 1, 2013 (Valiente has dropped out voluntarily) - See the new schedule below.
February 24, 2013: Zacara won the last of the quarterfinals in the CV Whitney Cup played today at noon on field 4 at IPC - defeating ERG in OT. They play Alegria in Wednesday's (Feb 27) semifinals.
