The 26-goal C.V. Whitney Cup is a single-elimination format and is the 1st of the three 26-goal tournaments, the highest rated polo tournaments played in North America. 7 teams are entered in this fast-paced tournament with Orchard Hill the 2015 defending champions.

Sunday March 6, 2016: Orchard Hill (defending champions) defeated Audi Polo in the final and claimed their 2nd consecutive win in the 26-goal C.V. Whitney Polo Cup challenge.
The MVP was awarded to Julian de Lussareta.
Best Playing Pony honors went to "Norma" Owned by Steve Van Andel & played by Julian de Lussareta
