The 26 Goal USPA Gold Cup, first played in 1974 at the Oakbrook Polo Club in Illinois, is a symbol of professionalism, good sportsmanship and high goal polo at its finest. This tournament has been played at various polo clubs throughout its history and since 2007, the International Polo Club Palm Beach has proudly hosted this prestigious event. Further adding to the tournament’s high-status, Piaget, a prominent world-renown watchmaker, is the title sponsor of the USPA Gold Cup Tournament for their 6th consecutive year.

March 24, 2013: Valiente claims the title of the 2013
USPA 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup, defeating Zacara 13-9 on the Piaget
Field (Main Stadium) at IPC. Santi Torres of Valiente was named MVP & also from the Valiente team, David 'Pelon' Stirling's mare was awarded Best Playing Pony with the award presented by Piaget's Lauren Duffy. Please check back as we continue to add photos to the galleries.

March 22, 2013: In the Butler Handicap, (subsidiary to the Piaget Gold Cup) ERG defeated Audi in yesterday's semifinal and Piaget defeated Orchard Hill 11-10 in this morning's semifinal. Both winning teams advance to Sunday's Butler Handicap Final played at noon at IPC on Field 2.
March 20, 2013: Zacara & Valiente were the winners of today's semifinals and advance to Sunday's final of the 2013 26-goal USPA Piaget Gold Cup at 3pm on the Piaget Field / Main Stadium at International Polo Club Palm Beach. March 24, 2013 the Zacara Polo Team with 10-goaler Facundo Pieres (left) will play the Valiente Polo Team with 10-goaler Adolfo Cambiaso (right) in the 2013 final of the USPA 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, FL at 3pm on the Piaget Field.
March 17, 2013: Wins for Alegria, Zacara, Lechuza, Zorzal & ERG in today's Piaget Gold Cup games. See photos & game results below. A shootout was needed to determine bracket winners & semifinalists.
-Valiente won the shootout with Zacara 3-1 for 1st place in the Bracket II/III cross bracket, both teams qualified by 3-0 record for the semifinals.
-Alegria (2-1) won the shootout with Zorzal (2-1) by 7-6 to advance to the semifinal qualifier shootout.
-Alegria (2-1) and ERG (2-1) tied on the first round of the semifinal qualifier shootout 4-4, Alegria won in the sudden death round on a shot by Julian Mannix.
