The 26-goal USPA Gold Cup, first played in 1974 at the Oakbrook Polo Club in Illinois, is a symbol of professionalism, good sportsmanship and high-goal polo at its finest. This tournament has been played at various polo clubs throughout its history and since 2007, the International Polo Club Palm Beach has proudly hosted this prestigious event. Further adding to the tournament’s high status, Piaget, a prominent world-renown watchmaker, is the title sponsor of the USPA Gold Cup Tournament for their 7th consecutive year.

The Piaget Gold Cup Perpetual Trophy
March 23, 2014: Valiente, the defending champions, defeated Alegria in the final of the USPA 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup 11-10 on the IPC Field #1 at International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida. Sapo Caset was awarded the Piaget MVP for the final presented by Larry Boland, President & CEO of Piaget & 'Pipi', played by Sapo Caset and owned by Bob Jornayvez was awarded the Best Playing Pony honors. March 23, 2014: 'Pipi' was awarded Best Playing Pony played by Sapo Caset & owned by Bob Jornayvez in the 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup final.

March 23, 2014: Crab Orchard defeated Coca-Cola 14-9 in the 26-goal Butler Handicap (Subsidiary). Inaki Laprida was awarded the MVP and 'Norma' owned by Facundo Pieres was given the Best Playing Pony Award.

March 20, 2014: Flight Options withdrew from the subsidiary tournament, advancing Coca-Cola their opponent in the semifinal, directly to Sunday's final. In the only semifinal game played, Crab Orchard defeated Orchard Hill 14-13 and joins Coca-Cola in the final
now scheduled for 11am.

March 19, 2014: Valiente defeated Audi 14-10 and Alegria defeated Lechuza Caracas 8-7 in Overtime in today's Semifinal games in the 2014 USPA 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup. Valiente and Alegria advance to the final scheduled for Sunday March 23, 2014 at 3pm on the IPC Field #1 - Piaget Field.

March 16, 2014: Valiente, Audi, Lechuza Caracas and Alegria advance to Wednesday semifinals after today's game results were calculated. In today's Piaget Gold Cup games,
Valiente defeated Lechuza Caracas 11-10, Crab Orchard defeated Coca-Cola 9-8, Flight Options defeated Orchard Hill 11-10, Alegria defeated Audi 10-7.
