Westchester Cup 2009

February 21st, 2009: The Long-awaited Westchester Cup polo competition returned to American soil after 70 years and was played at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida.

England wins & retains the Westchester Cup!
Saturday, February 21st, 2009 at 3 p.m.
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Historic First win for the Americans over the English in 1909.
The Westchester Cup benefited the Polo Museum & Hall of Fame of Wellington, Florida, a non-profit Organization dedicated to the preservation of polo history in the U.S.
Gates opened at 1pm with pre-game activities at 2pm featuring: Bag-pipers & Drums, the Polo pony parade & the Official 2009 Westchester Cup Hat Contest.
Wellington Polo was honored to be chosen to photograph this event and have an action photo chosen to be showcased in the Polo Museum & Hall of Fame in Wellington, Florida.
